GROUND TRUTH SOLUTIONS
Ground Truth Solutions is an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to helping people affected by crises influence the design and implementation of humanitarian aid. Over the past three years, Salma has collaborated closely with GTS on a range of perception studies across Afghanistan, with a particular focus on healthcare and gender inclusion. A shared commitment has been to amplify the voices of Afghan women and men impacted by crises and to promote accountability to women and girls in humanitarian response, ensuring their needs shape aid efforts.
Our efforts have focused on enhancing the gender-inclusive capacity of aid workers through nationally representative surveys, providing inclusive, data-driven solutions that prioritise the needs of diverse communities to key stakeholders, including the Gender in Humanitarian Action Working Group (GiHA) and UN Women.

RESEARCH CARE AFRICA
Research Care Africa (RCA) is a leading consultancy serving the Horn and East Africa, specialising in customised technical assistance and management solutions for humanitarian, development, and government organisations. Active in Somalia since 2013, RCA has focused on supporting stakeholders in areas such as education, health and nutrition, WASH, resilience and protection, and refugee reintegration. With a team of over 250 skilled field monitors, supervisors, and research experts, RCA boasts a comprehensive nationwide presence, ensuring access to the most remote and hard-to-reach areas across Somalia. Our partnership brings together Salma Consulting’s technical expertise in analysing vulnerability, power dynamics, intersectionality, gender, and social inclusion in complex and challenging environments worldwide, with Research Care Africa’s operational proficiency and extensive fieldwork experience in Somalia.
